The Rochester Security Summit is a collaboration of area organizations and the Rochester Chapter of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA).  The first Summit was held in 2006.

 

About ISSA
The Rochester Chapter of the Information Systems Security Association is a non for profit business association and the 101st official chapter of the international Information Systems Security Association.  More information about our Chapter can be found at www.rochissa.org or membership information can be found at www.issa.org. 

The Rochester Security Summit is a community focal point for education and awareness in collaboration with higher education, business and industry partners, held during National Cyber Security Awareness Month. 

Area collaboration partners include:

• The Rochester Chapter of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), 

• University of Rochester Information Technology Office 

• Rochester Cyber Safety and Ethics Initiative;

• OWASP; and 

• Area businesses and organizations.

The Summit features speakers and panels to help educate area security and IT professionals, business managers, organizations and our community on how to protect information systems and data. This year's event will be held October 29-30, 2008 at The Woodcliff Hotel & Spa Conference Center in Fairport, NY.
