As modern threat timelines accelerate—with the fastest breaches moving from initial access to lateral movement in just 27 seconds—AI-first approaches create dangerous bottlenecks.
The session will identify three primary pitfalls of using AI for real-time containment:
Ninty-five percent of organizations take over five minutes to contain high-priority threats. This "speed limit" coupled with variable investigation costs, creates exploitable gaps for threat actors.
Prior to co-founding Wirespeed, Tim was Executive Vice President of Strategy at NetSPI, the world's largest proactive security testing firm, and former CTO at Fishtech Group / Cyderes, a large Managed Detection and Response (MDR) firm. Tim is also known for creating and leading the Red Team at the world's largest company, Walmart, prolifically speaking and writing about adversary simulation, training SOCs, complex multi-stage malware, novel offensive techniques, and building high-performance teams. Following the acquisition of Wirespeed by Coalition, the nation's largest cyber insurer, Tim has taken on the General Manager position for all of Coalition's security division, which includes security product, GTM, and incident response.
