Waiver: We have put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19 at our event; however, the Rochester ISSA Chapter cannot guarantee that attendees will not become infected with COVID-19. By registering, you acknowledge the risk of exposure to COVID-19 and assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and release and hold harmless the Rochester ISSA Chapter, its employees, volunteers and representative, of and from any injury resulting from exposure or infection by COVID-19 in connection with attendance. 

Policies: Mitigating transmission and ensuring a safe and healthy environment requires the cooperation of all attendees. Thank you.

  1. Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms or recent exposure to COVID-19 should refrain from attending the event. Refunds will be made available for those who cannot attend due to illness or prior exposure. (Please, kindly stay home if you suspect you may have any illness).
  2. All attendees are required to wear a well-fitted, high quality mask while not eating or drinking. – Conference Speakers will not be required to mask while speaking.
  3. We are requiring proof of vaccination and booster
    • OR, if not yet eligible to receive a booster, proof of vaccination
    • (exception) a negative PCR test may be accepted depending on COVID-19 levels of transmission in October.
  4. We are limiting the size of the conference to allow for increased social distancing. Our set up will allow for 6 ft of space for speakers and for increased space between attendees during meals and during talks. 
  5. Available meal and snack options will NOT be served buffet style or openly displayed.

These COVID-19 policies are subject to change. We will be closely monitoring the guidance and information provided by the CDC as our conference approaches but please expect requirements for attendance, such as vaccinations, testing and/or masking, to be in place. Please be on the lookout for updated information as we near the event.
