Michael Pinch is an experienced healthcare technology executive, currently the Chief Information Security Officer for the University of Rochester Medical Center. Prior to that, he was the Chief Technology Officer for Palladian Health where he led development of real-time clinical decision support and utilization management systems. Prior to Palladian, Pinch worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers, performing a variety of IT Security, project management, and compliance related services at several Fortune 500 companies. Mike holds several certifications (CISA, CISM, PMP, CGEIT, TCAD) and has published and presented regularly on topics relating to IT management, cloud computing, and security throughout the region.
Pinch is an adjunct professor at the Rochester Institute of Technology Saunders Graduate School of Business, as well as a faculty member with IANS. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Union College, an MBA from the Rochester Institute of Technology with concentrations in Technology Management, as well as an MS in Computer Security and Information Assurance, also from RIT.
