Sponsored by F5

Jesse Darrone & Aubrey King

Recently, distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks have evolved from simple flooding to complex reflector attacks. According to the Verisign DDoS Trends Report for the second quarter of 2016, the number of distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks has increased by a whopping 75 percent year over year.

Join F5 for a hands-on lab where you will learn about common DDoS and web application attacks as well as how to defend against them. You will need to bring your own laptop and use a remote desktop client (details below) to connect to the lab environment in the cloud. Seating is limited so register today!

System Requirements: Laptop computer capable of connecting to the hotel’s wireless network. Must have a remote desktop client (ala Microsoft RDP) in order to connect to the cloud-based lab environment.
